Role Overview
The Business Development Manager for SAP Recruitment drives new client acquisition, expands existing accounts, and builds long-term partnerships with organizations seeking SAP talent. The role requires proven experience in SAP staffing, a strong understanding of SAP modules and market demand, and the ability to position recruitment solutions to enterprise clients across the United Kingdom.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a business development strategy focused on SAP contract, contract-to-hire, and full-time staffing.
- Identify, pursue, and close new client opportunities within SAP-driven organizations, system integrators, and consulting partners.
- Build strong relationships with hiring managers, procurement teams, and HR leaders to understand SAP project needs and workforce plans.
- Collaborate closely with internal recruiting teams to ensure delivery alignment, candidate quality, and client satisfaction.
- Conduct market research to identify SAP trends, emerging technologies, and competitive insights.
- Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, qualification, proposal development, negotiation, and account onboarding.
- Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting, and activity tracking within CRM tools.
- Represent the company at SAP related events, conferences, and virtual forums to expand brand presence.
- Drive revenue growth through strategic account expansion and cross selling of additional staffing services.
Required Qualifications
- 3–7+ years of experience in SAP staffing or IT recruitment business development (mandatory).
- Strong understanding of SAP modules (e.g., S/4HANA, FICO, MM, SD, ABAP, Basis, SuccessFactors, Ariba, EWM).
- Demonstrated success in selling staffing solutions to enterprise level clients.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue and KPI targets.
- Ability to communicate technical SAP concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship building skills.
- Experience working in a remote, performance driven environment.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and sales productivity tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Existing network of SAP hiring managers, consulting partners, or SI contacts.
- Experience supporting large scale SAP transformation or migration programs.
- Understanding of U.S. staffing compliance, rate structures, and contract terms.
- Prior experience in a fast-growing staffing agency or consulting firm.
