The SAP FICO Accounts Receivables Specialist is responsible for managing and optimizing the accounts receivable processes within the SAP FICO module. This role involves configuring and maintaining the SAP system to ensure accurate and efficient processing of receivables, as well as providing support and training to end-users.
Key Responsibilities:
Configuration and Maintenance: Configure and maintain the SAP FICO module, specifically focusing on accounts receivable processes.
Transaction Processing: Process, verify, and post receipts for goods sold or services rendered.
Account Reconciliation: Research and resolve account discrepancies, ensuring accurate and timely reconciliation of accounts.
Reporting: Generate and analyze financial reports related to accounts receivable, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
User Support: Provide support and training to end-users on SAP FICO functionalities and best practices.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements in all accounts receivable activities.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of accounts receivable operations.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 8 years of experience in SAP FICO, with a strong focus on accounts receivable processes.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proficiency in SAP FICO configuration and maintenance.
Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and accounts receivable processes.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications: SAP FICO certification or equivalent.
Technical Skills: Familiarity with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD) and integration points.
